There is also an option at the bottom of the page to make this Hawk calving camera system wireless for 200 meters, 1500 meters (1.5km / 1 mile ) or 3000 meters (3km / 2 miles), and to add a microphone to this system if required.
This calving camera system is suitable for indoor and outdoor use, including use inside metal or tin sheds. Each calving camera has a Sony Hd 700tvl Hd lens which produces crisp, clear images in colour, allowing you to monitor your calving pens / sheds from the comfort of your own home. Each calving camera also has 30 infra-red led to allow clear night vision of up to 20 meters, which means you can use your systems in the dark, or all year round to monitor your cattle pens / sheds / stall. You can even use this kit as a CCTV security camera system when outside of the cattle calving season.
The remote controlled multiplexor box included with this system will enable you to view up to 4 cameras on screen at any time. The screen can be split in 4 allowing 4 equal picture display. You can also have 3 pictures on one side of the screen and 1 picture on the rest of the screen. If desired you can see time and date on screen, pause live pictures, motion detector and picture loss alarm. This system can also be controlled from the comfort of your armchair with the included remote control.
This calving camera system is very easy to install and set up. Simply attach the cameras to the wall or ceiling of the calving shed using the included mounting brackets. Then connect the camera to power using the included power adaptor. Connect a cable (phone cable with 8 wires inside will run 4 camera signals back to the mulitplexor box) from each camera to run back to your house. Connect the 4 cables to the multiplexor box using the supplied bnc/phono connectors & connect the TV to the multiplexor box using the supplied connection. Press tv/av on your TV and you will have your cameras on screen.
